Privacy Policy
HerMorrow is built around local, user-controlled cycle and wellbeing records. This policy describes the current public app and website behavior.
Scope
This policy describes HerMorrow for iOS, a private cycle and wellbeing journal. The app currently has no HerMorrow account system, no cloud synchronization, and no app-owned health-data backend.
Information users record
Users may choose to record period starts, daily cycle and wellbeing check-ins, symptoms, mood, energy, sleep, private notes, Advanced Tracking values, Care Memory entries, reminder preferences, Cycle Context settings, and app privacy settings such as PIN configuration.
Local app storage
Cycle and wellbeing records are stored locally on the device by default using app-owned local storage. HerMorrow does not operate a backend that receives health records through the verified app implementation.
User-controlled PDF sharing
Shareable Cycle Summary PDFs are generated locally only after explicit user action. The PDF is written temporarily to the app cache, shared through the native iOS share sheet, and then cleaned up by the app.
A destination selected from the share sheet may save, transmit, or process its copy under that destination’s own practices. Deleting local app data cannot delete copies already shared elsewhere.
Local reminders
HerMorrow uses local notifications for reminders. Visible reminder text is generic and does not include cycle or health details under the current implementation. iPhone Settings controls notification permission and delivery.
App Store purchases
Apple processes App Store purchases and manages StoreKit purchase records. HerMorrow checks StoreKit entitlement status to unlock HerMorrow Plus. HerMorrow does not receive full payment-card details from StoreKit.
Face ID, Touch ID, and PIN
Users may enable a HerMorrow PIN and supported device biometrics to reduce casual in-app access. Biometric authentication is handled by the device platform. These controls do not guarantee absolute device security.
Website hosting
This website is a static public website. It does not include HerMorrow analytics, advertising trackers, contact forms, user accounts, or payment processing. The hosting provider may process standard technical request information required to serve the website.
Analytics and advertising
The verified app and website implementation uses no HerMorrow analytics SDK, advertising SDK, external tracking SDK, or crash-reporting SDK.
Data retention
Local app data remains on the device until the user changes or deletes it, deletes the app, or platform behavior such as backup or restore affects local app data.
Deleting local data
Delete all HerMorrow data removes app-owned local HerMorrow records on this device, including cycle records, daily logs, settings, reminder preferences, PIN settings, Cycle Context, Care Memory, Advanced Tracking, and cached HerMorrow summary files. It also cancels pending app-owned local reminders when the local notification plugin is available.
This does not cancel an App Store subscription or delete Apple purchase history. Deleting the app or using Delete all HerMorrow data does not control copies already shared elsewhere.
Device backups and platform services
iOS backup, restore, device-management, and platform services may handle app data according to the user’s device and Apple settings. HerMorrow does not claim that device backup behavior is disabled.
Security limitations
HerMorrow uses local app storage and optional in-app access controls, but no app can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their device, device passcode, shared files, and backups.
Children and age considerations
HerMorrow is intended for personal cycle and wellbeing journaling. Age-rating, parental-consent, and child-directed-service requirements should be reviewed before publication in each applicable location.
International use
Users are responsible for deciding whether HerMorrow is appropriate in their location. Privacy, consumer, health, and purchase-disclosure requirements may vary by location.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated before or after release. The effective date will be updated when the published policy changes.
